Hearing Aid Dispensing Program

Charlotte Speech and Hearing Center offers the latest and most technologically advanced hearing aids available in a wide range of styles and sound quality. Choose from completely-in- the-canal, behind-the-ear, in-the-ear, canal and body hearing aids with either standard volume control, programmable or digital sound. Our hearing aid package includes:

• Quality care by a licensed audiologist or hearing instrument specialist
• Hearing aid evaluation
• Ear mold impression
• Hearing aid
• Hearing aid fitting
• Orientation and training
• 2-week, one month and six month follow up visits one package of batteries per hearing aid

Trial Period
A 30-day trial period is provided to allow clients the opportunity to use their new hearing aids at home, work, school and other relevant situations. If a client chooses not to keep the aid at the end of the trial period it may be returned in good condition for a refund, minus $150 for professional services.

Medical Clearance
Clearance from a physician is recommended by the FDA prior to a hearing aid fitting and is required for patients who have a conductive or symmetrical hearing loss or other medical related issues.

Repair Service
Clients who experience a problem with their hearing aid should contact the Center for a service appointment. We will do our best to minimize any inconvenience and cost. Repairs can frequently be completed at our Center.
